10.23.14 Golden Nugs--WHO IS PLAYING AT TCF NEXT SUMMER??

New, 10 comments

Well....maybe the female students will be interested.

Jesse Johnson-USA TODAY Sports

We start off the nugs with some major concert news for TCF Bank Stadium next Summer.  Unfortunately for the vast majority of our readership, this one will not have the interest that U2, Imagine Dragons or Iggy Azalia would have.

Yeah.....about that...

Well...I guess they can't all be geared towards your typical Gopher sports fan. Anyways...on to the normal tenants of TCF Bank Stadium:

Jack Satzinger can write articles as well as witty tweets.  Here he writes in the Minnesota Daily about the top four rushers in the country...all from the Big Ten.

Marcus Fuller of the Pioneer Press has an article on Gopher Kicker Ryan Santoso.

He also has a tout clip of Santoso taking about his now infamous American Flag/Eagle shirt:

Joe Christensen of the Star Tribune has a nice article on Damarius Travis.

Patrick Reusse has a nice column on the Gophers heading the right direction.

Jason Gonzalez has an article previewing Illinois.

Fox Sports North's Tyler Mason has a Gopher Football Mailbag.

Mike Rallis wants us to remember Gary Tinsley as today would have been his 25th Birthday:

If you want to watch the game on Saturday with a crowd:

Basketball:

Amelia Rayno has a nice article with Nate Mason.

She also answers ten questions about the Gophers team.

SI Ranks the Gophers 9th in the Big Ten this season. Seems a bit low.

Hockey:

Tyler Mason returns with a Gopher Hockey notebook article:

Jason Gonzalez is doing a Gopher Hockey Live Chat at NOON today.  Participate, or read the recap depending on when you are reading this.

He also has an article about the Gophers wanting to get back to work after an early bye week.

Seth Ambroz and Rachel Ramsey are this week's guests with Justin Gaard and Mike Grimm on this new Gophersports Podcast.

Grand Donald previews the #1 Gopher Women's series at Ridder Arena this weekend against #9 North Dakota in the Minnesota Daily .

That should do it for today.  Enjoy your lunchtime reading.
