The latest College Football Playoff Committee rankings for Week 12 were released tonight, and no this is not a misprint, but the Golden Gophers made the Top 25!

Obvious statements upcoming: this is the first time Minnesota has been ranked in the any of the inaugural CFP polls. The Gophers were ranked 24th in the USA Today Coaches' Poll for Week 9 before falling out after a loss to Illinois; Minnesota is currently ranked 27th in the Coaches' Poll and 30th in the AP Poll.
