This story is about a week old but apparently Jerry Kill has been back behind the wheel of a car. This is pretty significant news considering he hasn't driven in two years!
Jerry Kill is making strides in his battle to control epilepsy.
Kill apparently drove a car Tuesday night, signaling he's been seizure-free for at least three months.
I don't want to read too much into this but it would appear as though Coach Kill has things more under control than he has over the last couple years.
A few interesting nuggets this fine morning...
- Sid says that Jerry Kill is on the verge of getting a new contract.
- The Vikings signed former Gopher Simoni Lawrence to a contract. Most recently played in Canada after short stints with Tampa Bay, Chicago, Philadelphia and St. Louis.
- Nebraska is not yet reaping the financial benefits of being in the Big Ten. This is a bit short-sighted as the big payday is on the horizon and they are earning less initially as their equity investment in the Big Ten Network. But to date, they would have more money in their pockets had they remained in the Big XII.
- Gopher Women's Hoops has won three straight games.
