Incredibly physical blocking tight end. Excels at walling off, hooking and driving defenders back 5-10 yards. Highly specialized blocking skill set that is perfect for the Minnesota offense.
Chances to play in 2014:
No need. The Gophers have more than a few tight ends ahead of Lingen, which will allow him a redshirt year to gain some bulk and strength before he embarks on a four year career of driving dudes into the turf with little recognition... aside from rubes like me who live for that.
