College Football TV Schedule Week 3: Channel Guide, Times, Teams, and More

Don't miss a minute of Week 3!

Matthew Emmons-USA TODAY Sports

The college football season just keeps rolling along. Many teams are now 1/6 of the way through their regular season. Some have even had byes already (/waves at Indiana). This is the week where more teams start their byes and it's the first week of Big Ten conference play for Rutgers and Penn State. The oddest note is that this Friday will be the FIRST game of the season for Cincinnati thanks to a scheduling snafu.

My personal pick for "best games" (besides the Gophers -- also best is a stretch for several of these b/c there aren't many great games this week):

Georgia at South Carolina: You'll only get to watch the start of this on CBS because it's a 2:30 game and the Gophers take priority at 3.

Purdue at Notre Dame: 6:30pm on NBC. Just for the gore factor. Or because Purdue will magically win and we can laugh at Notre Dame. Seriously though, this won't be a good game and I don't know why I'm including it.

Penn State at Rutgers: 7pm on BTN. Look, we might as well get used to Rutgers in the B1G. Watching Penn State kill them is a first step.

Tennessee at Oklahoma: 7pm on ABC. Because, I don't know...
