The Gophers were about to go up 17-7 when David Cobb fumbled the ball reaching for the goal line. Frustration was turned to jubilation however when Eric Murray came through with this huge interception:

The story of the first half is definitely the running game. Chris Streveler has yet to complete his first pass, but the Gophers are running all over San Jose State.
Check that Cobb with 22 carries for 149 yards. Streveler with nine carries for 73 yards. #Gophers with 222 yards rushing at first half.
