Here is how the former Gophers on NFL rosters did in Week 3!

Eric Decker- Wide Receiver New York Jets

Week 3 Opponent: Chicago Bears

Decker tested his injured hamstring and determined he could play, and caught one pass for 19 yards before he reinjured his hamstring in the second quarter.

Week 4 Opponent: Detroit Lions

The Jets travel to Detroit, and may be without Decker.  We shall see as we get closer to the game.

Marqueis Gray- Tight End Minnesota Vikings

Week 3 Opponent: New Orleans Saints

Gray saw significant playing time in the second half as Kyle Rudolph was injured for the Vikings.  He did not record any stats however.

Week 4 Opponent: Atlanta Falcons

With Rudolph out, Gray is now the primary pass catching tight end for the Vikings.  So that's good for him, but not so much for the team.

Ra'Shede Hageman- Defensive Tackle Atlanta Falcons

Week 3 Opponent: Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Atlanta killed Tampa 56-14 last Thursday, but Shede did not record any stats

Week 4 Opponent: Minnesota Vikings

Shede will make his triumphant return to TCF Bank Stadium when the Falcons play the Vikings this Sunday.

Marcus Sherels- Cornerback/ Punt Returner Minnesota Vikings

Week 3 Opponent: New Orleans Saints

Sherels returned four punts, but for only a total of eleven yards.  Not great.

Week 4 Opponent: Atlanta Falcons

Sherels will try his luck if the Vikings defense can stop Matt Ryan.

Matt Spaeth- Tight End Pittsburgh Steelers

Week 3 Opponent: Carolina Panthers

The Steelers killed Carolina 37-19 on Sunday night, but Spaeth did not record any statistics.

Week 4 Opponent: Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Spaeth will hopefully get more action in what should be another blowout for Pittsburgh.

Brock Vereen- Safety Chicago Bears

Week 3 Opponent: New York Jets

Vereen played a good chunk of the game due to injuries in the Bears secondary.  He ended up with three tackles, all solo, and made a good defensive play keeping the Jets from scoring the potential game tying touchdown on their last offensive play of the game.

Week 4 Opponent: Green Bay Packers

The Pack head to Soldier Field to take on the Bears, and Vereen should get more time in the secondary.

Tramaine Brock- Cornerback San Francisco 49ers

Week 3 Opponent: Arizona Cardinals

Brock was inactive for the game against the Cardinals still suffering from a turf toe injury from Week 1.

Week 4 Opponent: Philadelphia Eagles

The 49ers host the Eagles in a game where Brock could be definitely be used if he is healthy.

Check back next Tuesday to see how our  former Gophers did in Week 4!
