This has been a tough day for Gopherland as Jerry Kill has resigned as Head Coach due to health concerns. Personally I feel completely numb, yet I have somehow gained more respect for Jerry Kill than I had before this morning started. I'm man enough to admit I'm a little emotional right now. It's days like this, heck weeks like this, that puts things into perspective. We are all invested into this program but at the end of the day, it's just a game and there are more important things in life. Let's all try and remember that when things aren't going the way for the program we want them to. Remember in life and in Gopherland, we're all in this together. In the big picture football wise, they will hire a new coach and things will return to normal. Big picture life wise, Jerry Kill is doing what is best for him and his family. Mad respect for Jerry making that decision. #Jerrysota will always live on! I will be forever grateful I got to watch him return this program to respectability. Thank You Jerry Kill and good luck to wherever life takes you next.
Here's what others were saying including quotes from Jerry Kill.
