Every week during the NFL Season we will recap how the former Gopher football players who are now in the NFL did each week for their respective teams. Here is how our former Gophers did in Week 10.
Eric Decker- Wide Receiver New York Jets
Week 10 Opponent: Buffalo Bills
Decker continued his great season with six catches for 85 yards and a TD in a loss to Buffalo.
Week 11 Opponent: Houston Texans
The Jets go to Houston to see if Decker can stay hot.
Ra'Shede Hageman- Defensive Tackle Atlanta Falcons
Week 10 Opponent: BYE
Hageman and the Falcons had a bye this week.
Week 11 Opponent: Indianapolis Colts
The Falcons host Indy Sunday.
Marcus Sherels- Cornerback/ Punt Returner Minnesota Vikings
Week 10 Opponent: Oakland Raiders
Sherels had two tackles and returned two punts for 15 yards in a win over the Raiders.
Week 11 Opponent: Green Bay Packers
The Vikings host the Packers in a battle for the NFC North lead.
Matt Spaeth- Tight End Pittsburgh Steelers
Week 10 Opponent: Cleveland Browns
Spaeth did not record any stats in the Steelers win over Cleveland.
Week 11 Opponent: BYE
The Steelers get a must needed bye.
Tramaine Brock- Cornerback San Francisco 49ers
Week 10 Opponent: BYE
The 49ers has a bye this week.
Week 11 Opponent: Seattle Seahawks
The 49ers head to Seattle for another whooping.
Maxx Williams - Tight End Baltimore Ravens
Week 10 Opponent: Jacksonvile Jaguars
Maxx caught his first NFL touchdown this week, along with three additional catches for a total of 40 yards. Oh..and a tackle for good measure.
Week 11 Opponent: Saint Louis Rams
The Ravens host the Rams on Sunday.
Damien Wilson- Linebacker Dallas Cowboys
Week 10 Opponent: Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Wilson did not record any stats in the loss to Tampa.
Week 11 Opponent: Miami Dolphins
The Cowboys head to South Florida for a game
We have one more player to add to the list! Former Gopher running back David Cobb was added to the Tennessee Titans active roster last week!
David Cobb- Running Back Tennessee Titans
Week 10 Opponent: Carolina Panthers
While Cobb was added to the active roster, he was inactive for the game against the Panthers
Week 11 Opponent: Jacksonville Jaguars
Hopefully Cobb will make his NFL debut on Thursday night.
