The Minnesota Golden Gophers punched their ticket to the NCAA Tournament with a 4-2 victory over the Michigan Wolverines last night. While the victory in the Big Ten Hockey Tournament title game assured them a spot in the NCAA Tournament field, there's still the small but important detail of what region they'll be in and who they will face.

Thanks to the use of #MATHS, the NCAA Hockey Selection Show doesn't have the same amount of intrigue or questions that it's basketball counterpart does. However, that doesn't mean there couldn't be surprises. The NCAA doesn't just assign the field by mathematical ranking alone. There are some rules that it tries to follow in terms of avoiding inter-conference match-ups and the like. So it is possible that a "scratch" bracket might not be what we see.

This brings us to the all important questions. When is the Hockey Selection Show? What channel is it on? And what if you want to watch it online? Good news friends! We here at TDG consulted the magical oracle that is the internet and are able to bring you those details.
