Isaac Fruechte's NFL dream is still alive!
#Vikings sign former #Gophers WR Isaac Fruechte, who tried out at rookie minicamp last weekend. Roster at 89 following Colter, Somsel cuts

This is great news and follows Freuchte's performance at this past weekend's Minnesota Vikings rookie camp. To be clear, this DOES NOT mean Fruechte will be playing in the NFL for sure this fall. He has been signed to the 90 man roster and will have the chance to earn a 53 man roster spot in training camp this summer. The good news for Isaac is that wide receiver has been a position where unheralded players have had a chance to make an impact (we see you Detroit Lakes native Adam Thielen). His focus will likely be on special teams however, as strong special teams play is the best way to break into the roster as an undrafted free agent.
HATS OFF TO ISAAC!
UPDATE:
Looks great in purple!
