The ACC-Big Ten Challenge pairings are now official and Minnesota is hosting the Clemson Tigers:

The Tigers finished the 2014-2015 season 10th in the ACC, posting a 16-15 record (8-10 ACC). The ACC-B1G challenge has become the source of one of the few high major opponents on the Gophers schedule in recent seasons. In that regard, Clemson is a bit of a mixed bag. They likely won't be a big NCAA resume booster if Minnesota wins. However, this does represent a winnable game over a major conference opponent. The winnable factor should not be overlooked when considering the depth issues the Gophers will face next season. Clemson finished the season ranked 80th by Ken Pom (for reference, Minnesota finished ranked 58th).
