Minnesota's Best Game-Day Restaurant

BTN says the top MN spot is Sally's. Do you agree?

We like to tackle the important questions here at TDG, so today's announcement by the Big Ten Network that they had compiled a list of the best game day spots for every Big Ten school was something we had to address. First, let's look at BTN's description of what they were looking for:

Before the 2015 college football season kicks off Thursday, Sept. 3, we went on a search for the top game-day restaurant on all 14 Big Ten campuses. You know, the place where fans, both home and away, go for good food, refreshments and a fun atmosphere, either before, during or after games on fall weekends.

The winner for Minnesota?

Sally’s Saloon

Address: 700 Washington Ave SE, Minneapolis, MN 55414

What they said: "After a year away, Sally’s is back on campus and will once again be a busy location for non-tailgating Gophers fans." – GopherHole.com (@GopherHole)

Seem's like a fair choice. I have my share of fun Sally's memories. I wouldn't call it the best restaurant that Stadium Village or Dinkytown has to offer, but despite what BTN called the piece food clearly isn't the only criteria at play so your mileage may vary on that statement. And when it comes to the other factors Sally's always seems to deliver. In the end, I'm not the best judge for this contest since I spend my game days tailgating. So I'm going to turn it over to you.

What do you think the best Gophers game day restaurant is?
