Minnesota Football: Schedule Posters 2015 & Brick by Brick Video

New, 4 comments

The Gophers have launched a new website dedicated to the programs journey that goes beyond videos. For the first time, the series includes it's own website, schedule posters, and multi-media downloads.

You don't build a championship team by taking the easy route. It takes preparation. Intelligence. Commitment. You have to hold yourself and others accountable. Get tough, because it's a long road. You need to be relentless. And you can never waiver in your loyalty.

That is how you build championship teams.

You build them Brick by Brick.

Time to add a new favorite webpage to your internet browsers, as the new Brick by Brick website is fully live! The U has gotten rid of the traditional (dot)com web address and embraced the future that is (dot)football! I'll let the Gophers introduce the new website in their own words:

Since December of 2010, Gopher Football has rallied around a saying that emphasizes the process of building a championship team. Every practice, every sprint, every game, every down. It's the mission statement that propels us to get better every day. And now it's your mission too.

In 2015, we're taking you, the Maroon & Gold crowd supporting us, into the minds of the program. We'll be breaking down this mantra at every home game so you know exactly what it means to be a part of Gopher Football.

The thing we were all expecting was a Brick by Brick video and sure enough, the U has delivered:

That's not all the U is offering via the new website. For those of you that look forward to the release of each new season's football poster, consider this Christmas come early! There is a 7-part schedule poster series that you can download for printing or as wallpapers for your desktop, iPhone, or Android devices. Each of these posters feature one of the 7 values that form the bricks in the program's foundation.

Take a look:

The Values:

  1. Preparation (featuring Mitch Leidner)
  2. Intelligence (featuring Jonah Pirsig, Joe Bjorklund, Jon Christensen, Ben Lauer, & Josh Campion)
  3. Commitment (featuring members of the student section)
  4. Accountability (featuring Peter Mortell, KJ Maye, & Rodrick Williams, Jr.)
  5. Toughness (featuring Robert Ndondo-Lay, Gaelin Elmore, Andrew Stelter, Alex Keith, De'Vondre Campbell, Cody Poock, Steven Richardson, Scott Ekpe, Hendrick Ekpe, Jack Lynn, & Thieren Cockran)
  6. Relentless (featuring Damarius Travis, Antonio Johnson, Eric Murray, Briean Boddy-Calhoun, Jalen Myrick, & Craig James)
  7. Loyalty (featuring the coaching staff)

Each of the posters also represents one of this season's home games. I don't know about you, but this is exactly what I needed to get back into the excitement of football season!
