According to KenPom ranks (aka the NCAA Basketball Bible), this is the worst team on our schedule. With that said, they did just beat St. Johns on the road, and while the Red Storm is not that impressive of a team they are better than the Blackbirds.

Should be a comfortable win for the Gophers. I'm rather confident.

Keys to a Gopher Win

Maroon_key_medium Stay Healthy - I'm not terribly worried about the outcome of this game. I'm assuming a win, but I need this roster to stay healthy for the Big Ten season. I like our pieces a lot, but we don't have much margin for error if people get injured.

Maroon_key_mediumLock Down Shooters - LIU is a pretty good shooting team from behind the arc. If they stay in this game, that's how I see it happening. So get to shooters and make them have a bad night shooting.

Prediction

Gophers win comfortably and we get to see a lot of the bench tonight.
