NFL Draft begins tonight. Barring something completely unforeseen, there will be no Gophers selected in tonight's 1st round. But it is looking as if at least 3 Gophers are going to get their name called sometime this weekend.
- Todd McShay lists his top 100+ players by Tier. Briean Boddy-Calhoun makes the cut as a 3rd round Tier.
- 7 Round Mock from NFL.com has DeVondre Campbell going in the third to the Bengals, Eric Murray a late 4th going to the Dallas Cowboys and BBC to the Bears in the 6th!
- Mel Kiper's Big Board has Murray 105th overall, Campbell is 121 and BBC is 160th. Also included are Theiran Cockran at 201 and K.J. Maye at 269! Here is where they fit when ranked by position.
- I like this analysis done by SBN. Apparently Big Ten players are more likely to be picked by Washington, Pittsburgh or New Orleans. And Buffalo, Carolina and Atlanta avoid Big Ten players.
- Your Minnesota Vikings, according to experts, are most likely to grab Josh Doctson or Laquan Treadwell with their pick at #23.
- Pioneer Press looks at Peter Mortell and his potential path to playing on Sundays.
- North Dakota State cooled off the Gophers with a 7-4 win on the diamond.
Happy Thursday.
