At 5'9" and 193 lbs, Boddy-Calhoun has been a potent playmaker for the Gophers in the seasons since transferring to Minnesota from Coffeyville Community College. As a two year starter, BBC led the team in interceptions and proved to be a powerful backfield pair for fellow draft hopeful Eric Murray. Briean is a two time All-B1G selection (2nd and 3rd teams) known for his ball skills and route reading abilities.
Getting to know Briean Boddy-Calhoun
Much like Eric Murray, the primary knock on Boddy-Calhoun is his size and speed. While there is no guarantee that BBC will have a roster spot by the time training camp ends this fall, there is also no question that he'll be working his tail off to make it in the NFL. Gophers fans everywhere will be hoping that his hard work will pay off.
