Minnesota fans have known for a while that Eric Murray was likely going to be the first Gophers player taken in the 2016 NFL Draft. The only question was where would he end up? Selfishly, a number of the TDG staff were hoping he'd find a way to land in Minnesota but it was not to be.
Instead, Eric will head to Kansas City to earn a spot of the Chiefs' roster. It looks like this could be a perfect fit:
