Multiple reports (ht to Doogie for reporting it first) suggest KJ Maye will sign with the New York Giants as an undrafted free agent. This makes KJ the first of several available Minnesota Gophers to line up a free agent deal following the close of the NFL Draft.
So thankful to be apart of the New York Giants organization!! #NYC

KJ proved to be a key part of Minnesota's passing attack. As a senior, he was the team's leading receiver with 73 receptions for 773 yards and 5 touchdowns. His 73 receptions were the most ever recorded by a Gophers senior and were second best all time (single season) behind Eric Decker's 84 catches in 2008. Not only was he by far the team's primary target, he was also the clutch option for moving the chains as he accounted for 20% of the team's first downs and 33% of the team's passing first downs.
As an undrafted free agent, KJ's future in the league is definitely unknown at this point. But Minnesota fans everywhere will be rooting for him the rest of the way.
