At 6'4" and 252 lbs, Cockran was a three year starter for the Gophers. In his senior season he was second in sacks (3) and tackles for loss (7) for all lineman and anchored the line for the Gophers with his pass rushing ability. He set his career high of 7.5 sacks in 2013. While he never bested that mark during his junior (4 sacks) or senior (3 sacks), he continued to show the same skills and drive and both of them will serve him well at the Vikings' fall camp.
