Friday Nugz and a Call For Some Help

Firs things first...some on-air production question for the audience.  Is there anyone who is in graphic design or is a stud at logo creation?  I have a fun idea for a blog post but would need someone who has some skills and wants to have some fun with this.

• GopherSports story on the recruitment of Rodney Smith that turned into the recruitment of Jonathan Celestin.
• Simoni Lawrence was the East Division Defensive POY last year in the CFL and just signed a contract extension with Hamilton.  Good for him.
• Athlon ranks all FBS Football teams. Gophers are 60th.
  
• Amelia Rayno talks Gopher Hoops recruiting and interviews Champlin's McKinley Wright.
• STrib profile on Gopher's catcher, Austin Athmann.
• Pioneer Press profiles Dan Motl and Matt Stemper who were childhood buddies, played ball together all the way through to being Gophers together.

I'll end with this, timeliness isn't quite right but this was the post-game press conference after Gopher Baseball lost to Michigan in the Big Ten Tournament.  A good watch to hear Jon Anderson and Matt Fielder talk about Todd Oakes and his impact.
