Murray's is my favorite steakhouse downtown!Not only is the food amazing, (try the ribeye cooked medium with a side of mushrooms), but the staff is wonderful as well!
If you don't feel like getting dressed to the max and spending a lot of money, the bar has happy hour Monday-Friday and has a laid back vibe in comparison to the dinning area. It is the best happy hour menu for it's pricing in downtown Minneapolis. I highly recommend going there!

Hands down the best Italian restaurant in the cities.The price is very reasonable unlike other Italian places in the area. The menu has Italian staples (like puttanesca) and a rotating seasonal dishes that are creative, fresh, and unique.
