Minnesota Football vs. Colorado State: Preview, Predictions, Odds, Gnomes, and Fearless Brew

Can we get to the Big Ten already?

Hooray for more football! Bye weeks stink and I don’t want anything to do with them until later in the season when I will probably want another one to give the starters time to rest and heal. That said, I kinda just want to get to the Big Ten season and stop playing teams I’m not excited about. Maybe it’s the long week I just had, but Colorado State tomorrow just doesn’t do it for me.

Minnesota > Colorado State

That could be the preview. Minnesota is not losing this game and if they do I will be very cranky and all the TDG folks on Slack will totally not want to be internet friends with me anymore. But that’s ok because Minnesota is not losing this game.

Last Game: I think there was a game last season. I’m sure Minnesota won in a rout so I won’t bother to check.

This Season: 2-1

Head Coach: Mike Bobo. Hahahaha...Bobo.

- Start quick. Minnesota scored points on their opening drive in what felt like decades against Indiana State. Let’s do the same to Colorado State, only without the false start penalties please.

- Stay healthy. Don’t get hurt in a win versus Colorado State when a tougher State is on the schedule for next week.

- Better defense. Minnesota’s defense is not horrible or anything like that. But it hasn’t been up to its usual levels of success and that needs to start changing. No better time than the present.

On a scale of 1 to 5 "Brewsters on his face" (1 being not a afraid, 5 being very afraid)?

I am 1 Tim Brewster head on Homer Simpson’s body riding a an animated ram afraid of Colorado State.
