It’s a great Wednesday for Damarius Travis, as the defensive back received an invitation to play in the Reese’s Senior Bowl this weekend.
Travis’ invitation means the Gophers have sent at least one player to the Senior Bowl for 4 straight years.
- 2014: Ra’Shede Hageman
- 2015: David Cobb
- 2016: KJ Maye and Eric Murray
It’s also a milestone of sorts, as Travis is also the 40th overall Gopher to play in the Senior Bowl since it’s inception. If you’d like to watch Damarius play, the game is this Saturday, Jan 28th, at 1:30 PM CT on NFL Network.
The Gopher Video team put together this great highlight package of Travis to celebrate his selection:
We wish Travis the best of luck and hope he earns himself a draft spot with his play on Saturday!
