The Minnesota Golden Gophers and the Iowa Hawkeyes’ annual battle for the bacon (otherwise known as the Floyd of Rosedale) will kickoff at 5:30 p.m. CT on Saturday, Oct. 28, in Iowa City. The game will be televised on FS1.

I can’t recall the Gophers’ last 5:30 p.m. kickoff, can you? Anyway, Minnesota has not won at Kinnick Stadium since 1999. The Hawkeyes have also claimed Floyd the last two years. Now seems like as good a time as any to break both losing streaks.
