Minnesota @ Iowa kickoff announced as 5:30 p.m. CT

It’s not an afternoon game and it’s not quite a night game, but it’s definitely some kind of game.

The Minnesota Golden Gophers and the Iowa Hawkeyes’ annual battle for the bacon (otherwise known as the Floyd of Rosedale) will kickoff at 5:30 p.m. CT on Saturday, Oct. 28, in Iowa City. The game will be televised on FS1.

I can’t recall the Gophers’ last 5:30 p.m. kickoff, can you? Anyway, Minnesota has not won at Kinnick Stadium since 1999. The Hawkeyes have also claimed Floyd the last two years. Now seems like as good a time as any to break both losing streaks.
