The NBA began last night and college hoops will be here in 3 weeks.
Reggie Lynch

The turnaround that the Gophers experienced last year can largely be attributed to the play of Reggie Lynch. His shot-blocking prowess helped the Gophers moved from ranking 162nd nationally in defensive efficiency to 22nd. It wasn’t all his doing, but having a rim protector like he him was a significant factor.
In the end he earned himself the Big Ten’s Defensive Player of the Year and helped lead the Gophers to a 5-seed in the NCAA Tournament.
More will be discussed when we do a full player preview of Lynch, but the one area of improvement for him is certainly staying out of foul trouble. A player with his kind of an impact on the game has to be on the floor more than 23 minutes per game.
But senior gets one more year to dominate the Big Ten lanes. #22 reminds us that Gopher hoops is just 22 days away!
