Minnesota Basketball Countdown: Matz Stockman till Gopher Hoops

Believe it or not, Gopher Basketball is right around the corner. Practices have begun and games will be here before you know it. 35 days to be exact. And according to the roster on GopherSports, Matz Stockman will be wearing #35.

An Oslo, Norway native who played for 3 years under Rick Pitino. He transfered from Louisville and will not be eligible to play this season. But the big man should plan a very important role next year after we graduate Reggie Lynch, Bakary Konate and Gaston Diedhiou.

The excitement for Stockman will be delayed for a year, but the excitement for Gopher Hoops should begin ASAP. This team is going to be talented and have at least a little bit more depth than it did a year ago. Just 35 days!
