The Minnesota Golden Gophers will kickoff at 11 a.m. when they visit the Northwestern Wildcats on Saturday, Nov. 18, at Ryan Field. The game will be televised on the Big Ten Network.
The Golden Gophers defeated the Wildcats 29-12 last season at TCF Bank Stadium, but their most recent visit to Evanston in 2015 saw the Gophers leave with their tail between their legs after being shutout 27-0 by Pat Fitzgerald’s crew. Overall, Minnesota has won three of their last four games against Northwestern, who have recovered nicely after starting the season 2-3. The Wildcats have won five straight games, including victories over Iowa and Michigan State, to climb to second in the Big Ten West at 5-2, with an overall record of 7-3.
