Happy Tuesday (that’s a thing right?)
Here are some links to help you get through this final week before Christmas. And more importantly, looking at a bunch of recruiting stories as tomorrow is the first Early Signing Day for football.
UPDATE: Great article by 247 regional recruiting analyst, Allen Trieu. This requires a subscription, but is a good read giving you the timeline on how PJ Fleck put together the best recruiting class since the dawn of internet recruiting rankings.
- Still Got Hope has a good recruiting story on just how deep this recruiting class is. It is deep, it is talented and there are basically no kids with red flags, fliers on kids nobody has heard of nor any expected last minute add/drops.
- Jornell Manns is an incoming receiver who will sign tomorrow. This kid has elite grades and strives to keep getting better. This is a cool article.
- Andy Greder of the Pioneer Press has a recruiting article on incoming TE, Brevyn Span-Ford and comparing him to Eric Decker a little.
- Another Greder story, this on on Lakeville North’s Nathan Boe.
- 247 video looking at the Big Ten’s recruiting classes.
- 1500ESPN article in incoming JUCO quarterback, Victor Viramontes.
- Perhaps you are aware that the Vikings are fighting for the top seed in the NFC and positioning themselves to be the first team to play in the Super Bowl in their home stadium. Keep a sharp eye on The Daily Norseman, they are good.
- Lastly, this is just a cool article. Gopherguy05 sent it out to some of us on the blog last week and I thought it was fascinating.
