Scouting Report

Boe is a good athlete with a long wingspan and thick lower body, but he’ll need to add upper body strength, which will help him finish blocks at the college level. His biggest areas of improvement are strength and technique. Boe has all of the intangibles — tough, plays to the whistle, and works hard. He’s pretty much everything you’d want from an in-state recruit.

Potential Impact

Boe is all but certain to redshirt this fall. As I mentioned, he’ll need to add strength to play at the college level. If or when he sees the field at Minnesota, it will likely be at center.
