The fax machines are quiet. The gong is silent. The dancing is done. National Signing Day is drawing to a close at Minnesota.
Here’s how the 2017 class has shaped up:
- 3 players already enrolled in Spring classes
- 22 players with signed letters of intent today
- 1 player (Eric Abojei) unsigned with a transition to a JUCO looking likely
- As of right now the class ranks 57th in 247 Team Composite, which is 12th in the Big Ten.
- Of the 25 players now on roster, only 5 were Claeys recruits already committed before Fleck arrived.
With 3 open scholarships, there is always a chance the class grows by one or two after National Signing Day. However, I think we know enough to do some quick grading.
Please vote in the poll below to share what grade you think the 2017 recruiting class should receive!
