Minnesota Football released an important detail about it’s upcoming schedule over the weekend. Coach Fleck’s first Spring Game will be held on Saturday, April 15th at Noon:

This is a change from previous years, when the Spring Game was held on the same day as the Goldy’s Run 10 mile/5K. While I appreciated that synergy back when living in Madison (since it meant I could do both in a single trip up to Minnesota), my guess is that it caused many non-runners additional headaches.
Whether you liked or hated the previous setup, the Spring Game now has TCF Bank Stadium all to itself! As always, the game itself is free to attend. Parking usually costs a little if you park in the lots by the stadium but the U hasn’t released that info yet. The game will be streamed live on BTN2Go and will air on Big Ten Network later on Saturday night (4/15) at 7pm CT.
