Keys to a Gopher Win

Execute on offense: Penn State is a good defensive team. Minnesota will need to more than just dribble around off of ball screens to pick up their seventh win. I'd like to see the Gophers successfully mix in some set offense the way they did against Maryland on Wednesday night. Continuing to improve that facet of their team game will be important come March.

Hold Tony Carr in check - Minnesota kept Carr out of the game (essentially) in their first meeting at Penn State. Given how much the Nittany Lions have relied on him recently, doing that again would be huge for the Gophers chances in this game.

Protect the ball - Given up turnovers (something Minnesota has been very good at avoiding) could spell a lot of trouble for the Gophers. Don't do it.
