Yesterday, gopherguy05 shared his concerns that Minnesota is reportedly considering selling the naming rights to Mariucci Arena. He was...underwhelmed by the prospect:

I personally think that selling off naming rights is the wrong way to go, disrespects the Gopher greats for who the buildings were named and is just another example of tradition gutted in favor of the mighty dollar.

Based on the poll in the story, it seems that many Minnesota Gophers fans agree with him:
