The Gopher staff got another commitment on the defensive side of the ball this weekend when Shamaur McDowell gave his verbal to be a Gopher. McDowell was projected by Gopher Illustrated’s Ryan Burns to eventually be a Gopher and that has come to fruition.
This gives the Gopher staff 4 DBs in the current class with most of them projecting to be corners. The defensive backfield is filling up early. More to come on McDowell, the usual Commit 2 Eight will be coming soon.
