Minnesota Football Recruiting: Nathan Boe Commits to Gophers

2-star offensive lineman from Lakeville is Golden

Courtney Anderson/University of Minnesota

The Gopher staff gave out another in-state offer at a camp on Saturday and got an instant commitment from Lakeville North offensive lineman Nathan Boe. Boe is only a 2-star player and was not as highly regarded as some offensive line talent Minnesota has been watching recently, but Boe worked out extensively one-on-one with Minnesota offensive line coach Ed Warinner on Saturday, and he obviously liked what he saw.

This gives the Gopher staff two currently committed offensive linemen in the current class. Boe is being looked at as a center with the other Gopher commit Austin Beier being looked at at guard. Minnesota obviously needs to find some tackles in the future to fill out its offensive line recruiting class, but missed out on one it was in the mix for recently as Balsam Lake, Wisconsin’s Cody Ince picked Iowa over the Gophers on Sunday night. GopherNation will have more to come on Boe with the usual Commit 2 Eight coming soon.

Height: 6’ 4”
