Bad Uniforms or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the M_M

Seriously though, I wear Zubaz. You think I’m actually going to rag on the M_M uniforms?

We’re deep into the college football offseason. All of us can feel it. June is the doldrums for CFB news and things of interest. Stepping into this abyss to bring us things to talk about is Reddit CFB’s annual discussion of “the worst uniform your school ever wore”. It’s good #content and I intend to reuse it here. But not in the way you think.

I’m assuming most of you thought this would be a treatise against the infamous M_M uniforms that Minnesota wore back in 1992-1995. You’d be wrong. Those are so bad that they’re good (just like Point Break, which is coincidentally also from the early 90’s).

No, what I’d like to do instead is highlight this hideous abomination worn by the Wisconsin Badgers:

I’d also like to remind you of that time they decided to have Adidas get their inspirations from a Scrabble board:

There was also the time that Iowa wanted to honor their most hated rival, Purdue:

And who could forget Nebraska’s commitment to putting the N in Nowledge?

And that’s just the Quadrangle of Hate. There are so many more terrible uniform choices to be found in the Reddit thread. Steel yourselves and go there for more and be whisked back in time to the terrible uniforms you totally forgot about!
