Minnesota Football game times announced for Buffalo and MTSU

Last we learned when the Gophers will play on the road at Oregon State and at home against Illinois for Homecoming. Thanks to an announcement by BTN a little while ago, we also know the kickoff times for the rest of Minnesota’s non-conference schedule.

• The home/season opener against the Buffalo Bulls will kick off at 6pm CT on Thurs 8/31at TCF Bank Stadium. The good news is that this means the game won’t get done close to midnight. The bad news is that this will significantly complicate pre-game traffic and tailgating access. Pick your poison I guess.
• The 3rd game of the season versus Middle Tennessee State on Sat 9/16 will be a 2:30pm kickoff. The Gophers are guaranteed at least 3 weeks without an 11am kickoff!

The remaining 7 games on the schedule (Maryland, @Purdue, Michigan State, @Iowa, @ Michigan, Nebraska, @Northwestern, Wisconsin) will be announced as each of those games draws closer.
