Jack Lynn has been #50 over his Gophers tenure. His eligibility expired and he is now trying to make his NFL dreams come true with the Atlanta Falcons. Lynn was invited to rookie camp where he impressed the staff enough to earn a summer roster spot. He’ll have an opportunity to make the roster at training camp.
The Gopher defense has become a bit of a Falcon feeder program over the last few years with Rashede Hageman and De’Vondre Campbell being significant contributors to Atlanta’s defense.
Now #50 is taken by Danny Anderson an walk-on linebacker from Eden Prairie. He’s trying to make his collegiate dreams come true by accepting a walk-on opportunity rather than a lower level scholarship. Perhaps he’ll be the next Blake Cashman, going from local walk-on to starter and a scholarship.
Just 50 days till kickoff!
