Minnesota Football: Steven Richardson nominated for the Outland Trophy

When you’ve got an award for standout interior lineman, you better make sure Steven Richardson is on your list.

The awards list folks definitely have a Nekton mentality when it comes to making sure Steven Richardson is on their watch lists. The Minnesota defensive tackle nabbed his third award watch list nomination, this time for the Outland Trophy.

The Outland is given each year to the nation’s best interior lineman (offensive or defensive). That’s certainly a category that Richardson exemplifies. Will he bring home this bit of hardware? We’re certainly excited to find out!
