Minnesota Football Recruiting: Grant Norton commits to Gophers

PJ Fleck and staff collected 2 offensive linemen recruits over the weekend. Grant Norton is a large young man out of Missouri who came to this weekend’s “Row the Boat Camp” where he impressed the staff enough to earn an offer.

Norton is a lean 6’8”and his biggest issue will be trying to continue to add weight. But I suspect that over his senior season in Camdenton, MO and a solid red-shirt season, he will look very different than he does now.

Having now added 2 offensive tackles this weekend the staff has four linemen committed in this 2018 class. Adding another may be a possibility if the right kid comes along.
