Now that the NHL Draft is complete and free agency is will past peak, NHL teams will start to think about their futures. All 31 teams will host development camps in July for their draftees and invitees. These camps will be an opportunity for players to work in front of the front office leadership and try and make an impression. Its even more vitally important for the undrafted players who are getting an invitation to the camps to impress. Both Justin Kloos and Vinni Lettieri are former Gophers who were signed by NHL organizations who’s development camps they attended.
Below is a list of the Gopher prospects, players, and recent alums who will be attending development camps this summer. These lists can always change due to injury, summer classes, or organization preferences. A major hat tip to Nate Wells of SB Nation College Hockey for compiling these lists. Follow him on twitter @Gopherstate and read his blog at www.thegopherhockeyblog.blogspot.com
