We are back for our weekly recap of how our Gopher alums did in the NFL. This past week was Week 2 in the NFL. Here is a recap and a preview of Week 3.

Eric Decker: WR Tennessee Titans

Week 2: at Jacksonville Jaguars

Decker caught three passes for 32 yards in five targets from Marcus Mariotta in the Titans win over The Jaguars.

Week 3: vs Seattle Seahawks

The Titans host a team from the NFC West this Sunday.

MarQueis Gray: TE Miami Dolphins

Week 2: at Los Angeles Chargers

Gray didn’t record any stats in their season opening win over the Chargers

Week 3: at New York Jets

The Dolphins head north to face the J-E-T-S Jets Jets Jets

Maxx Williams: TE Baltimore Ravens

Week 2 vs Cleveland Browns

Maxx caught four passes for 21 yards in the Ravens win over the Browns. He also gained two yards on a rushing play. Unfortunately it appears he also injured himself once again as he was in a boot postgame.

Week 3 vs Jacksonville Jaguars

Maxx and the Ravens will take on the Jags in London this Sunday. We shall see if his foot/ankle is ok to let him play and or even travel.

De’ Vondre Campbell: LB Atlanta Falcons

Week 2: vs Green Bay Packers

Campbell continued to impress this season tying for a team lead eight tackles in the win over the Packers. He ended up with six solo tackles including 1.5 for loss and would sack Aaron Rodgers for his first NFL sack in the second quarter.

Oh...and he tossed in a pass defense too. Not too shabby Mr Campbell.

Week 3 at Detroit Lions

The Falcons get their second straight NFC North team in a battle of 2-0 teams.

Briean Boddy-Calhoun: CB Cleveland Browns

Week 2: at Baltimore Ravens

Boddy-Calhoun would record three solo tackles but it wouldn’t beat enough to beat the Ravens.

Week 3: at Indianapolis Colts

BBC and the Browns head to Indy for a battle of 0-2 teams.

Marcus Sherels: DB/PR Minnesota Vikings

Tramaine Brock: CB Minnesota Vikings

Week 2: at Pittsburgh Steelers

Sherels returned just one punt for 12 yards in the Vikings loss to the Steelers. However, those 12 yards were enough to put Sherels over the top as the Vikings all-time leader in punt return yards.

Brock was inactive once again with his groin injury.

Week 3: vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Vikings try and regroup back at home against the Bucs.

Eric Murray: DB Kansas City Chiefs

Week 2 vs Philadelphia Eagles

Murray stepped in after safety Eric Berry tore his Achilles in week 1 and performed great, He tied for the lead in tackles for KC with 6—all solo and recorded two pass defenses as well in the KC win over the Eagles.

Week 3 at Los Angeles Chargers

Murray and the Chiefs will try and go 3-0 out in LA.

Damien Wilson: LB Dallas Cowboys

Week 2: at Denver Broncos

Wilson recorded two solo tackles in the loss to the Broncos.

Week 3: at Arizona Cardinals

The Cowboys head to Arizona for Monday Night Football.

Jalen Myrick: CB Jacksonville Jaguars

Week 2: Vs Tennessee Titans

Myrick was inactive for the second straight week for the Jags.

Week 3 vs Jacksonville Jaguars

Lets see if Myrick gets to play when the Jags fly over the pond to play the Ravens.
