After a surprisingly strong showing by the Gophers on Monday night at Penn State, the question is whether or not they can back it up with another strong road performance at Maryland.

KEYS TO A GOPHER WIN

  • Defend the Three - I’m no expert, but allowing your opponent to shoot 45.8% from three is going to make it kinda tough to win.
  • Lean on Coffey - I feel like Amir Coffey is going to be our key cog tonight on both ends of the floor. His length will help in defending the three and I think he’s going to have to have a huge game to get this team going tonight.
  • Attack - Attack the rim, all night long. Get to the free throw line and get their guys in foul trouble.

PREDICTION

I feel like a win is in order tonight. Coffey gets the team going, Murphy/Mason/McBrayer follow suit and we get a home win, giving Northwestern a bad loss.
