Scouting Report from Kohl’s Kicking:

During the Kohl’s Underclassmen Challenge, Weeks solidified his place at the top of the Kohl’s national rankings. He snaps the ball with tremendous velocity and crisp rotation. During the Underclassmen Challenge, he finished the charting portion of camp with an average snap time of .65 seconds. The ball jumps off his hands unlike anyone else in the country. Weeks is an elite talent and will make an immediate impact at any program in the country.

Highlights

Now, right about now you might be asking yourself someone along the lines of, “Why are we wasting a scholarship on a long snapper?”

The answer:

The botched long snaps are at 0:35, 1:36, 2:07, 3:31, 4:16, 6:06, 7:39, 9:21, and 12:40.

And those are the professionals.

Also, the Gophers’ starting long snapper Payton Jordahl is on scholarship and will be a redshirt senior next fall. I’ll give you one guess where that scholarship is going after he graduates.
