Minnesota Football: Gophers in the NFL Week 6

Another week where no one really impressed

It was another lackluster week in the NFL for former Gophers. Marcus Sherels returned from injury, but Eric Murray remained out.

Maxx Williams— Tight End—Baltimore Ravens

Week 6 at Tennessee Titans

Williams played 33 offensive snaps for the Ravens in their win over the Titans but for the second week in a row he did not have a single catch.

Week 7 vs New Orleans Saints

Briean Boddy-Calhoun—Cornerback—Cleveland Browns

Week 6 vs Los Angeles Chargers

Boddy-Calhoun did not play a single defensive snap for the Browns in their loss to the Chargers. That is now two weeks in a row he has barely played. Not good.

Week 7 at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Tramaine Brock—Defensive Back—Denver Broncos

Week 6 vs Los Angeles Rams

After two inactive weeks in a row Brock played in a season high 57 defensive snaps on Sunday in the Borncos loss to the Rams. He had two tackles, one solo and one pass defense in his best game of the season.

Week 7 at Arizona Cardinals (Thursday Night)

Eric Murray—Cornerback—Kansas City Chiefs

Week 6 at New England Patriots (Sunday Night)

Murray was inactive with the sprained ankle he suffered in the Chiefs last game.

Week 7 vs Cincinnati Bengals (Sunday Night)

Damien Wilson—Linebacker—Dallas Cowboys

Week 6 vs Jacksonville Jaguars

Wilson played just ten defensive snaps in the Cowboys blowout win over Jacksonville. He did not record any stats.

Week 7 at Washington

Marcus Sherels—Cornerback/Returner—Minnesota Vikings

Week 6 vs Arizona Cardinals

Sherels returned after missing three straight games with a ribs injury and returned one kickoff for 17 yards and three punts for a total of 20 yards in the Vikings win over Arizona.

Week 7 at New York Jets

De’Vondre Campbell—Linebacker—Atlanta Falcons

Week 6 vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Campbell recorded two solo tackles and three assisted tackles on 54 defensive snaps in the Falcons win over Tampa Bay.

Week 7 vs New York Giants (Monday Night)
