Minnesota Football: Gophers in the NFL Week 7

It was another lackluster week in the NFL for former Gophers. Marcus Sherels returned from injury, but Eric Murray remained out.

Williams played 20 offensive snaps for the Ravens in their loss to the Saints. He ended up with one rush for a single yard. Huh.

Week 7 at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Boddy-Calhoun after two weeks of hardly playing played in all 95 defensive snaps in the Browns OT loss to Tampa Bay. BBC had his best game of the season with ten solo tackles and one pass defensed.

Week 8 at Pittsburgh Steelers

Tramaine Brock—Defensive Back—Denver Broncos

Week 7 at Arizona Cardinals (Thursday Night)

Brock played 28 defensive snaps for the Broncos in their blowout win. He only eneded up with one pass defense for the game.

Week 8 at Kansas City Chiefs

Eric Murray—Cornerback—Kansas City Chiefs

Week 7 vs Cincinatti Bengals (Sunday Night)

Murray returned from his injury and played just 22 snaps in KC’s blowout win. He had one tackle and it was a tackle for loss.

Week 8 vs Denver Broncos

Damien Wilson—Linebacker—Dallas Cowboys

Week 7 at Washington

Wilson played 21 snaps in the Cowboys loss to Washington. He finished with one solo tackle and one assisted tackle.

Marcus Sherels—Cornerback/Returner—Minnesota Vikings

Week 7 at New York Jets

Sherels had his best game of the season for the Vikings in their blowout win over the Jets. He returned five punts for 52 yards with a long of 20 yards. Additionally Sherels played nine defensive plays but did not record any defensive stats.

Week 8 vs New Orleans Saints (Sunday Night)

De’Vondre Campbell—Linebacker—Atlanta Falcons

Week 7 vs New York Giants (Monday Night)

Campbell recorded three solo tackles in the Falcons win over the Giants. Campbell played 53 defensive snaps in the win.
