The second half of December is not a strong one in terms of quality opponents. Arkansas State was an easy win for the Gophers and the follow that up with North Florida, who is better...but not by much. The Ospreys start five juniors without a senior on the roster, so maybe this is a year that springboards them to 2019-20. But this year the Gophers should have no problem with North Florida.

KEYS TO A GOPHER WIN

Play with energy - Do not come out flat, do not walk on the court thinking this game is in hand before the tip. Play with some energy and put the Ospreys away early. I’m looking at you, Amir Coffey.

Turn them over - North Florida turns the ball over quite a bit. Forcing turnovers, which isn’t exactly a strength of ours, would be very helpful.

Stay healthy - The team goes without a game for the next 10 days, but get through this game without any injuries and be that much closer to Big Ten games.

PREDICTION

This is going to be a win. If the Gophers are lethargic or uninterested, they’ll win by single-digits. If they come out with some energy, they’ll win by 20+.
