The first home Big Ten game for the Gophers as they play their second December conference game.

This game may have a different feel to it as starting guard, Dupree McBrayer is playing just days after his mother passed away from cancer. This may be an emotional game for the Gophers.

KEYS TO A GOPHER WIN

Find some offense - This team has had it’s moments offensively but they have struggled lately. Regardless of the defense, they need to find some open shots and put Nebraska on their heels.

Find some offense - Not an accident, but this Nebraska defense is actually pretty good and finding offense may be a challenge.

Rebound - This has also been weak in recent games and needs to improve. Partly this will improve if our bigs can stay out of foul trouble (maybe that should be a key too).

PREDICTION

I have this irrational dislike of Nebraska basketball and want them to lose regardless of who they are playing. And obviously I want the Gophers to win, but I don’t see it happening tonight. Been an emotional week and this team needs some time to figure things out.
