Scouting Report
You’re going to hear a lot of people describe Harris as a “pure pass rusher.” In fact, he is a perfect fit for the “R” position currently occupied by Carter Coughlin and Tai’yon Devers. Harris has a high motor and bursts off the ball. His reputation as a speed rusher also comes from the fact that he doesn’t necessarily have the size to look the part at 6’3’’, 225 lbs., but some work in a college weight room will help add the power and strength needed to defend against the run. He does have the speed and athleticism to drop into coverage, which is the kind of versatility that head coach P.J. Fleck and co. covet on defense.
